Montgomery County Shooting Complex
A world-class public shooting facility
The Montgomery County Shooting Complex is Tennessee's premier shooting facility for archery, clay targets, pistol and rifle shooting. The complex is located just south of Clarksville at 4201 Southside Rd. in Southside, TN. Currently the range is open to the public Friday & Saturday from 10AM-6PM, Sunday from 1PM-6PM, & Monday from 10AM-6PM. Gun rentals available. The range is owned by TWRF and operated through a joint agreement with TWRA and the Montgomery County Sportsmen Association.
In addition to providing the public with shooting opportunities, MCSC is home to the Tennessee Outdoors Youth Summit (TOYS), a weeklong camp for high school students from across the state with an intensive curriculum in all things outdoors. The facility also routinely hosts TWRA hunter safety classes, law enforcement training classes, and fundraising events for various charities. MCSC now serves as a model for future public/private partnerships to create additional shooting facilities in other regions of the state. Perhaps more importantly, MCSC exemplifies the synergy created through the TWRF’s partnership with TWRA, and the benefits derived for all sportsmen and sportswomen in Tennessee.
