The Best of the West Mountain Scout Rifle in 6.5 PRC topped with a Huskemaw scope.

The Mountain Scout rifle is new for 2019. The goal was to cut as much weight and bulk as possible while still maintaining the durability and accuracy Best of the West shooting systems are known for. Starting with the already light weight proprietary BOTW Mountain Hunter platform with a carbon fiber stock, they compacted the Mountain Scout even more with a shorter 20-inch Proof Research carbon fiber barrel, shaved off more weight with a titanium action, and chambered it in 6.5 PRC (Precision Rifle Cartridge). Mounted with a Huskemaw 4-16x42 Blue Diamond long range scope, this ultra light weight, compact rifle is proven to 1,000 yards, and tips the scales at a tiny 6.8 pounds (with scope). This system comes complete with an Atlas Bipod, 40 Rounds of ammunition, two Dual Stack turrets, and a custom SKB Rifle Case. (Donated by The Best of the West and Huskemaw Optics.)
