The Jayme Burns Memorial Fund
Supporting Wounded Veterans in tribute to Jayme.
On October 20, 2016, avid Tennessee outdoorsman, Jayme Burns, passed away. He was 46 years old. Jayme loved many things, especially his family and his large circle of friends. He was happiest, however, when he was outdoors - hunting from a tree stand or a duck blind, fishing for crappie or bass or running limb lines, or just being “out there” enjoying the beauty and peacefulness of God’s creation.
Jayme also loved to share his love of the outdoors with others. Several years ago, friends made him aware of TWRA’s Wounded Soldiers program. His participation was a perfect opportunity for him to bring two passions together – his love for the outdoors, and his love for helping others. He thoroughly enjoyed participation in the program and the opportunity to spend time in his beloved Tennessee outdoors with wounded vets who might otherwise not have had the opportunity to hunt or fish. Jayme’s family and friends believe continuing support of this program to be a fitting tribute to his memory.
All contributions will go directly to TWRA's Wounded Soldier Program, helping wounded warriors participate in hunting and fishing activities in Tennessee.
